Student Teaching Stipend for High-Needs Fields Online Application

An individual may apply for this stipend if the individual:
1. Is a student who is enrolled in a course of study that would enable the student, upon graduation, to teach in an accredited school in Indiana in:
• special education
• a high-need field (Middle School and High School level Mathematics and Science)
2. Will participate in student teaching as part of the student's degree requirements
3. Has earned a cumulative grade point average upon entering 1 student teaching of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent as determined by the eligible institution
4. Meets any other minimum criteria established by the Commission
Required questions are marked with an asterisk. Your answers to these questions will determine whether or not you are able to apply for the Stipend.
1. Have you filed a 2014-2015 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)? *  

2. Are you enrolled in a course of study that will enable you, upon graduation, to teach in an accredited school in Indiana in a High-Needs Field (math or science at the middle or high school level)? *

3. Are you enrolled in a course of study that will enable you, upon graduation, to teach in an accredited school in Indiana in a Special Education Field? *

4. Will you participate in student teaching during the 2013-2014 academic year as part of your degree requirements? *

5. Is your cumulative grade point average (GPA) at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent as determined by your educational institution)? *
